Founder and President
Bill founded Commercial Resources, Inc. in 2003. He was a frustrated business owner and manager fighting for ways to get benefits to small businesses without enough employees to get a group health plan, digging for ways to pull all of the businesses into one payroll, struggling to eliminate the waste of having multiple “book keepers” and managing multiple businesses and literally hundreds of special projects all at one time. As with most any valued creation it is born out of need and Bill had that.
Bill began his career growing up in a family business , a marina on a large Midwestern lake. Followed by college and a few “interesting” opportunities Bill learned about finance and the power of having cash and knowing the right people. Commercial Resources, Inc. has earned and sustained a hard-won reputation for excellence and value. The work of his teams – which represents multi-million dollar businesses – is some of the most recognizable, high-impact, and firmly grounded in his industry.
Over the past six years, Bill and the Commercial Resources team have driven the strategic expansion of integrated services to include professional employer services such as group health and 401(k) benefits, leading edge web-based payroll systems, human resource support, web based project management software, and the newest team of international web marketing and management professionals.
Bill is extremely protective of the environment that has made CRI a great place for the most talented people in the business to thrive and grow. It is, as we all know, all about the people. An Bill is determined to keep it that way.
Away from work, Bill serves as lookout from his families sailboat as well as the highschool cheerleader’s cheerleader. From the stands you can hear him yell, “Centerville Cheerleaders Rock!” We think his daughter is getting used to it. As to his son Alex the “jazz drummer” Bill confesses, “What do you say to your son about jazz drumming besides, ‘That’s cool!”. What we say is, “Bill, you need help we can’t provide.” We love you man.
