Rachel Hoffman
Vice President – Commercial Resources Inc.
Rachel joined CRI after serving in management at one of our “in house” retail businesses. She actually worked for CRI before it was CRI. She watched it grow, helped nurture it and when the opportunity presented itself she raised her hand to tackle a completely new role as the Executive Director and Vice President.
Prior to becoming Vice President, Rachel lead many divisions becoming an expert in each area as she moved up. She started with bookkeeping and handling accounts payable and accounts receivable. She moved on to payroll and then human resources. With each step she challenged existing systems and improved them in a very quiet way. Things just seemed to take care of themselves when Rachel worked on them. Part of it could have to do with the fact she beat everyone to work and was often the last one out. Rachel has redefined “doing what it takes”. Just “on time – as promised”.
Rachel holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Iowa and has since studied accounting, human resources, and web design and management. She is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Drake University.
In her spare time, she enjoys “experiencing” life through her young daughter’s eyes. She enjoys seeking adventure through travel and making the world a better place by serving on multiple organization boards.
